On the night of August 13, a major outage occurred in the operation of the Telegram messenger, as reported by users on the Downdetector service.

The highest number of complaints came from Saint Petersburg, the Leningrad, Tver, and Nizhny Novgorod regions, as well as from Moscow and the Moscow region. Issues arose with server connections, message sending, and the app's functionality. Many channel administrators could not publish posts, and some received error messages.
