In Linux family operating systems, V2Ray installation is done through the command line («Terminal», «Console»). Commands vary depending on the Linux version.
Requesting VPN Configurations
To set up BlancVPN with V2Ray on Linux devices, you'll need a client and a passkey.
Get the VPN keys from the your BlancVPN personal account:
Choose the location, then «Other protocols» → «V2Ray». Copy the access key.
Setting Up Tools
1. Update the package manager and install snapd:
sudo apt update sudo apt install snapd
2. Install the v2rayA application:
sudo snap install v2raya
3. Launch the v2rayA application:
/snap/bin/v2raya.v2raya-browser-wrapper
A new tab will open in the browser.
4. Register in the application. Create a random login and password that you can easily remember or write them down. These credentials will be needed to log in.
5. Next, it will prompt to import a subscription. Click on the button «Import».
6. A window for entering the link will appear. Paste the access key you received in the first step and click «Confirm».
The VPN subscription with all locations is added!
Continue configuring the application.
7. Go to the application settings in the «Setting» tab at the top right and change the «Transparent Proxy/System Proxy» parameter from OFF to On: Do not Split Traffic.
Connecting BlancVPN
Activate the VPN connection!
1. Click «Select» next to the desired location.
2. Then click the «Ready» button.
3. You will see the message «Running».
Done, you are now connected to a fast VPN.
