To set up BlancVPN using V2RayN on Windows devices, you will need a V2Ray protocol client and access key.

Downloading V2RayN

Download the V2RayN client for Windows.

Installing V2RayN

  1. Unzip the file to a folder and run V2RayN.exe.

  2. Select V2RayN PropertiesCompatibilityRun as an administratorOK.

Getting the key

Log in to your BlancVPN account. Click Install → choose the device → Install a VPN app → in the Location and protocol column choose V2Ray and copy the key.

Set up the VPN

  1. In the V2RayN app select ServersImport bulk URL from clipboard.

  2. Then click on SubscriptionUpdate subscription with proxy. A list of the accessible locations will load.

  3. Activate VPN:

    • Right-click the location, and choose Set as active server.

    • At the bottom of the window, click System proxy and choose Set system proxy.

    • Activate Enable tun toggle. When the connection is active, the app icon turns red.

  4. Change the operating mode of the TUN mode: Settings → Parameter setting → TUN mode setting → Stack change to "Mixed" → Confirm.

Done! You are now connected to a fast and reliable VPN.

Additional settings

To deactivate the VPN, choose Clear system proxy for the System proxy parameter and deactivate Enable tun toggle.

Routing configuration

With the V2RayN client you can specify exclusion routes that should not go through BlancVPN or should be opened only with VPN. Read more in our article.

Updating program components

For stable operation of the client, we recommend updating it using the built-in tools. Click Check for Updates → Check. Wait for the process to finish, the program will restart. Connect to the desired server again.

Checking system settings

If you cannot connect to the Internet after that, open Windows Settings Network and InternetProxy Server, activate the Use Proxy Server switch and save.

If you cannot connect to the Internet after disabling V2RayN, disable the Use proxy server parameter.

Checking server availability

You may sort the servers by ping (server response time). As a rule, the closer the server is to your location, the less the delay. To sort the servers, right-click any and choose Test servers real delay.
